Product Designer

I'm a Product Designer based in Krakow, Poland. Over 8 years I've worked across the full arc of product design — early-stage discovery and research, interaction design, and production-ready execution — for startups building from zero and for complex platforms carrying years of technical debt.

When priorities shift or scope is ambiguous, I'm comfortable setting direction and making the first call — but I do it by working closely with founders, PMs, co-designers and engineers, running research together, and negotiating scope rather than deciding in isolation. Some of my best work has come out of close partnership: co-designing a product end-to-end with another designer, pairing with engineering to keep design and code in sync, running sessions with stakeholders to turn research into decisions the whole team can stand behind. That's the muscle I bring to every team I join — the ability to bring order to complexity without needing someone else to hand me the map.

That instinct started before design. My background is in Philosophy, where I trained to interrogate assumptions, follow logic rigorously, and build arguments that hold up under pressure. I moved into UI/UX through self-directed and formal training, and that analytical foundation still shapes how I work: I ask what's actually true about how people and products behave, not just what looks right on a canvas.

One thread that runs through a lot of my work is design systems — the discipline of building the infrastructure that lets product teams move fast without sacrificing consistency. I don't just design within systems; I build the systems themselves, and the processes that keep them alive after I've moved on. But the work I'm proudest of usually starts earlier than that: talking to users, mapping a journey nobody had mapped yet, shipping the first version of something that didn't exist before— increasingly with AI folded into that process, to synthesise research faster and generate quick variations of a direction so I can pressure-test it before committing craft time to polishing any single option.

I'm driven to advocate for good design at the organisational level and to share what I know, the same way mentors and the design community supported me early on. Good work doesn't just solve a problem once — it teaches everyone around it to solve problems better.

Outside of work, that same curiosity shows up in my love for fashion and art. Different mediums, same underlying interest in how things are made well.
